Superbowl CHAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are the champions!! Who would have thought all those months ago back in July when we started this season we would win the Superbowl! Our boys played their hearts out....it was a CLOSE game....tied 0-0 until the last 5 minutes of the game. Much too stressful on the mommies!!!

Cubby had a great season and I couldn't be prouder of him. How blessed I am to have two boys who have won the Superbowl...T's team, the Chiefs won it last year....click HERE to see his victory.....and now this year Cub's Braves won...Wowza...We're practically like Manning family!! Thank you so much for all of them memories we will hold in our hearts!!!

Favorite Friday

Isn't he just the cutest? We're in full swing for Halloween over here....I'm room mom again for Cubby's class and I've got all kinds of fun things planned for the party at school tomorrow....anyhoo....My father in law invited all of us to stop by his house last week to go through all of the holiday decorations.....since my mother in law recently passed away, he wanted to go through things and see if we wanted anything....Cindylou and I stopped by and we loooooved this Goblin!!! This picture doesn't do it justice....he's about 12" high and we love the glow he gives at night when he's lit. I know we'll treasure him forever......Have a Happy Halloween everyone!

Every Girl Needs Her Own Tools

I mean that....a friend gave me my pink hammer several years ago and I honestly don't know what I would have done with out it. It's always right there in my drawer when I need it...my hubs has a HOR.RIB.LE habit of being totally disorganized with his tools, so instead of searching forever in his messy tool chest.....I have my own. I also love my Leatherman....it is several tools in one. SUPER handy all the time. I've actually been using it several times a day for my dryer. The knob broke and I just haven't gotten around to tracking down a new one, so I just turn the dial with the pliers on my Leatherman. I love to give these to high school graduates so they have a little something while they're off to college. I'm not sayin' I can build a house or anything....but I'm all set for hanging pictures, getting the battieries out of something or just a little tweaking.

I Looooove Hobby Lobby!!!

I was invited to go on a field trip last week to Hobby Lobby. It is about an hour away from where I live...and it was my very first time....I missed out on an opportunity this summer when I wasn't able to make a trip to Atlanta, which really made me sad. I've been on a zillion blogs who RAVE about Hobby Lobby and I've been craving to go to one.....Let me tell you, I wasn't dissappointed!!! I went with my SIL and her friend, now my FRIEND....who, believe it or not is almost exactly like me! My SIL has been telling me about her forever...and it's crazy, but we are all freakishly VERY similar!!! Anyhoo........

I was like a kid in a candy shop. This place is A.MAZ.ING! Kinda like a Joanne's, Michaels, Pier One, and TJMaxx Homegoods rolled into one. I couldn't catch my breath and didn't know where to start. So come along with me and look around for a bit....Everything in the store is very neat and tidy....which makes shopping even more fun :)

There is a fabulous christmas section....now, I don't know if it is here year round....but I just couldn't get enough of it.

Look at this cutie patootie cupcake section....I think they knew the Treatgirl was in the house!

There was a killer section of knobs, pulls and hooks like Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn combined...I wanted to change out every knob in my house.

My SIL was beside herself that she found barstools and a club table (that she wasn't even looking for!)....for her new great room. This was the total highlight of our trip....we were all so happy for her. And since she was consumed with figuring this whole situation out she really didn't get to see the rest of the store...so we'll have to go back!

Tons and tons of ornaments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And look at this cute one....shhhhh...don't tell anybody, I may try to re-create him :)

We got there at 11:00 am and before we knew it, it was almost 2:30!!! I managed to find a few treats for myself and then we had to hit the road. There wasn't even time for lunch! But we all agreed we were perfectly happy to get something from the MTO section at Sheetz....shocker!! We all three love Sheetz too! PER.FECT.

After much adjusting we were able to get 3 barstools and a club table into the car for the ride home.....believe me, this picture DOES NOT do this justice! But 3 girls figured it out...In the blink of an eye we were home and the day was over...How great it was! I'm already planning my next trip! Hobby Lobby ROCKS!!!

Really, I Needed Them

Really....for reals. I came to the conclusion a few weeks ago I needed an everyday pair of black shoes. I have cute black ballet flats, pumps, or boots.....but nothing in between. So since it was in my head I have been on the hunt....I wanted something comfy that I could knock around in...well...ta-da! I found these great clogs at Marshall's two days ago. I wore them around the store for a little bit...they are by the same company that made one of my favorite pair of boots...Born. Click HERE to see all of my favorite boots. These clogs are so comfy they feel like slippers! They are suede and I need to waterproof them but I think will love them for a very long time.

We're in Playoff Mode Over Here

Things couldn't be anymore exciting over here!! Cubbys team has made it to the second round of playoffs this weekend....last weekend we won 31-0....We are all so PROUD of our little Braves.

They've been playing their hearts out since the last week in July. I'm crazy with spirit....making banners and signs, getting air horns and clackers...anything to cheer our little guys on...

This Saturday we play a team with just one loss.....and it was to us! If we win, we make it to the Super bowl next weekend which our organization is hosting at the high school football stadium. It's a BIG DEAL!!

Just one more win for the mommies this weekend...then we're Superbowl-bound! Let's go BRAVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Friday Friday to you bloggy friends :) This week I was busy running around all over the place and I missed lunch one day....while I was running out of Walmart with random stuff, I grabbed these....and can I just say I ate half the bag on my way home...and the other half while I was putting my stuff away. They are sooooo good!! The PER.FECT amouont of dust/flavor and a great crunch. You totally have to try them!!

....and these are a very close second. I really shouldn't make bags of toasted chips a meal...but oh well.....there could be worse things :) Have a terrific weekend...and don't forget to throw a bag or two of these in your cart!

T.G.I.F bloggy friends!!! Look at my super cute Halloween tree! I loooove it! We are expecting a GOR.GEOUS weekend here in western Pennsylvania...lots going on.....it's homecoming weekend, Cindylou is in 9th grade and she will be attending for the first time, Cubby has his last regular season football game...Go BRAVES! ...and it's Chip's birthday. No Cake, Just a Plate Piled With Cookies

This was Cubby's request for his 7th birthday. Yes! My baby is SEV.EN!! I truly can't believe it! It seems like just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital and now he's playing football..CRAZY! You may not remember from last year...but I call this my Christmas in October week....because within 7 days I have Cindy Lou's, my father in law, Cubby's and Chips birthdays. Yikes! Today is Cub's birthday and I made chocolate chip muffins to take in to his class this morning...along with apple juice and treat bags filled with healthy stuff...don't get me started....this new healthy-food-only policy at his school for the class parties is driving me NUTS! How can you celebrate Halloween with carrot sticks??! Anyhoo.....I also went in to eat lunch with him at the cafeteria. He was soooo excited!! But as far as the cake for this evening he told me a few days ago he wanted, "...those special cookies from Christmas, in shapes with frosting and sprinkles. Piled on a plate. Just for me." When I asked if he had any shapes in mind...he replied, " a football helmet, a star and a puppy"(well, he looks more like the dog Bolt from the Disney movie) Alrighty then....that's what he got! I sprinkled blue and black...his team colors...on the helmets. I love our school colors...they are easy to dress in because you can find these colors everywhere and still wear them together even if you aren't cheering for a team at the school. The cookies haven't finished drying yet....but I'll pile them on the red You Are Special Today plate later when we sing Happy Birthday :)

Favorite Friday

We are Chipotle junkies over here and I'm claiming it as my favorite thing of the week as well, since I ate there three time this past weekend!! Part of the reason was because my sister was in visiting from Dubai and she's the biggest Chipotle addict I know....so she was craving it and every time we drove by the brand new one in my town we ate there!

This is one of the very few places where I don't order the same thing EVERY time I go there....I often switch it up between the fajita burrito or the 3 tacos...alternating between the chicken and the spicy barbacoa. Everything is fresh and organic. That being said, the burrito is the size of a football and I've been afraid to look up the nutrional value.....even if it is healthy...I've heard it weighs in at about 1,200 calories or so....depending if you get the guacamole or sour cream. But even then, I sometimes just go ahead and splurge....making a deal with myself that I will be so stuffed I won't eat anything else the rest of the day, or bringing the other half home for another meal.

Do you Chipotle??? What's your favorite??
