Chocolate-Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats

SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!! I can't stop with the chocolate peanut butter thing over here!!!!! I actually had to get the ingredient list from Jennifer Juniper at the gym the other day so I could make these the moment she posted them on her blog!!!!! I'm serious!!!! I think I miss my soul sisters so much I've replaced them with anything chocolate and peanut butter!! *Hint*Hint!! Gotta get together sisters!!

I tried to cut them bite size and put them in these little tiny heart shaped dishes for the kiddos when they get home from school....but I ate two before I even got the picture :( Oh, and when you go over to Ms. Junipers lovely blog to make these...I altered the process a bit when I made them....I have never done the double boiler thing......shocker!... So I just melted the stuff in the microwave. I'm pretty sure they turned out the same way....A.MAZ.ING!!!! My only complaint is that the recipe makes an 8x8 pan.....ummmmmmm...that's just barely enough for ME...let alone sharing with the kiddos. I think I will double it next time :)

Now you are making me want peanut butter and chocolate. There is something about that combination that is really tempting.

Thanks for the lovely pictures. So tempting. At least you have three children and two are boys and one of those boys is at the vacuum/teenager stage. I only have one and none of us should be eating extra sweets. :(

I saw these over on her site the other day. My kids don't like peanut butter so I'm afraid if I made these I would eat the whole pan, and that would NOT be good! But these look SO yummy!

I love how the peanut butter layer oozes down into the cracks and crevices of the rice krispies!
