What is it Wednesday????

I know they don't look like much....but they mean a lot to me. Cindylou and T. glittered up these pinecones in 2000...when they were 3 and 4 years old. It was a cold, snowy day and we were looking for something to do. We tied thin gold thread on them and hung them on our tree....I made one just like it in the 3rd grade and still hang it on our tree. I love the simple things about this season....that's what it's truly all about.

They are lovely - and PERFECT for the jar!

That's actually a super cute idea. I have HUNDREDS of pinecones in my yard, so this would be a fun, yet inexpensive craft idea! I think I'll go gather up some pinecones now. Thanks!

Very pretty, by the way I love my jar, it's so much fun to think of what to put in it next!

Very sweet. We will smear ours with peanut butter and birdseed this year--too many for a single tree!
